Questions about epoxy floors

Straight answers about metallic and solid color epoxy floors. Don't see your question? Ask us directly.

What is the difference between metallic and solid color epoxy floors?

A metallic epoxy floor uses pearlescent pigments that are worked by hand while the resin is wet, creating movement, depth and veining. A solid color epoxy floor is a single uniform color with a clean, seamless look.

Where do you install epoxy floors?

Worldwide. We are based in Florida, serving Tampa, Wesley Chapel, Spring Hill, Brooksville and Hernando County locally, and we travel worldwide for metallic and solid color epoxy projects. Tell us where your project is and we will talk through logistics.

Can metallic epoxy go inside the house, not just the garage?

Yes. Metallic and solid color epoxy can be installed on suitable interior concrete such as living areas, bars, game rooms and studios, as well as garages and commercial spaces. We assess each slab before recommending a system.

Will my floor look exactly like a photo in the gallery?

Not exactly, and that is part of the appeal. Metallic floors are poured and manipulated by hand, so each one is unique. Photos are a great way to show us the colors and mood you like.

How much does a metallic or solid color epoxy floor cost?

Pricing depends on square footage, the condition of the concrete, the design and the system chosen. We provide a quote after learning about your project and seeing the space.

How long does installation take?

Timing depends on the size of the area, the prep needed and the system. We will give you a schedule, including when the floor is ready for foot traffic and vehicles, as part of your quote.

Are you the Epoxy Artisan that used to operate in Sarasota County?

No. Epoxy Artisan at epoxyartisan.com is a brand operated by Floor Coating Specialist. It has no affiliation with the Epoxy Artisan business that previously operated in Sarasota County.
